4 Steps to Increasing Your Website Traffic Using Keywords   by Scott Davies


Right, everyone knows about keywords, don't they?

Well I thought I did, keywords are words that everyone uses on the internet, to drive you to their website, blog, adverts - right?

WELL YES AND NO - Do you have the financial clout to compete with the major players who have thousands of dollars to ensure that when you put in your search criteria, that your website comes up top in Google and Yahoo? Probably not it costs thousands to compete in this market.

Lets look at a simple example "make money online", if you put this into Google, you will come up with 185,00,00 hits, which is incredible, but how are you going to get noticed? Lets be honest here, your not going to get seen unless it is a pure stroke of luck.

So, what if you could compete but on a smaller scale? Yes, you can compete, but you need to give yourself and your business a chance. So how do you do this?

4 Simple Steps

Step 1 - Think of as many keywords as you can that people might use to find your business and make a note of every single one (ask family and friends to help)

Step 2 - Use this link - freekeywords.wordtracker.com - and put in each of your keywords. You are looking for similar keywords but look around the 20 hits per word mark.

Step 3 - Make a note of all of these new keywords and go to Google and type in the search box - allintitle:"keyword" - put each keyword between the quotation - You are looking for the ones that come back with around 20,000 hits.

Step 4 - Use your Top 5 new keywords in your website and this will drive your website to the top within these criteria.

Effectively what you are doing is finding keywords with the "HIGHEST DEMAND" but with the "LOWEST COMPETITION"
